"Sonata Arctica" for Leones Sin Jaula
1- Your last visit was the 15th anniversary of Ecliptica, how did you feel the impact on the public?
The fans loved to
hear the album with it's entirety. It was also really cool to play the album as
a whole.
2- Being "The Ninth Hour" their last work, they will also be playing songs of "Pariah's Child" disc after the last visit?
Yes, we try to
cover all the albums. This time less songs from Ecliptica because we covered
that album pretty good last time. But it's always difficult to build a setlist
because we have so much which to choose from.
3- In your
opinion what would be the best show they had in Latin America and which in
Europe?
I really can't
say, but the first tour for me in South America was just mind-blowing. In
Europe the Italian and French shows have been crazy. Also in Hungary and
London, England to name a few.
4- In their previous visit they had a show in (Cipolleti) to the south of the country, that seemed to them the public of the interior?
We enjoed playing
there. Some of the shows we do are bigger, some smaller, we do them all and
enjoy the all the same.
5- How would you define the music, the lyric content and the graphic of your last album?
I think we are
really on the right track with it. Really like what Sonata is all about. The
music is versatile. We have a few classic ballads, Epic songs, fast songs. The
right amount of everything.
6- How do you see the evolution of the band through their last two albums referring to the style and its audience?

1- Su última visita fue el 15 aniversario de Ecliptica, como sintieron la repercusión en el público?
Los fans aman escuchar el
álbum en su totalidad. También fue muy bueno tocar el álbum completo
2- Siendo “The Ninth Hour” su último trabajo, también van a estar tocando canciones de “Pariah’s Child”disco posterior a la última visita?
Si tratamos de tocar
canciones de todos los álbumes, esta vez seran menos canciones de “Ecliptica”
por qué lo tocamos la última vez. Pero siempre es difícil armar un setlist
porque tenemos mucho para elegir.
3- A su criterio cual seria el mejor show que tuvieron en Latino America y cual en Europa?
Realmente no puedo
decirlo, pero el primer tour que hice en América del Sur fue alucinante! En
Europa los shows en Italia y en Francia si una locura, también lo son en
Hungría y en Londres por nombrar unos pocos.
4- En su visita anterior tuvieron un show en (Cipolleti) al sur del país, que les parecio el publico del interior?
Nosotros disfrutamos
tocar ahí. Hay veces que los show no son en lugares grandes, más bien pequeños,
pero nosotros damos todo y disfrutamos por igual.
5- Como definirían la música, el contenido de la lirica y la grafica de su ultimo disco?
Creo que estamos
haciendo lo correcto con él, realmente me gusta lo que es Sonata. La música es
versátil, tenemos algunas baladas clásicas, canciones épicas, canciones
rápidas. La cantidad correcta de todo.
6- Como ven la evolución de la banda a través de sus dos últimos discos referente al estilo y a su publico?
Veo muchas caras
familiares en la audiencia lo cual es realmente bueno. Este último álbum con el
nuevo bajista Pasi ha sido realmente suave para la banda, y lo hemos tomado
relajados dentro de la banda.
